WhatsApp AI Agent
The IDeliver WhatsApp AI Agent lets you dispatch a delivery just by sending a message. You describe the order in plain language, the AI confirms the details with you, and a rider is dispatched automatically.
No code required. No dashboard. No forms.
How it works
- Send a message to the IDeliver WhatsApp number for your account.
- Describe your order naturally: “Deliver a package to 14 Awolowo Road, customer is Amara on 08011122233.”
- The AI confirms the order details back to you.
- Reply YES to confirm and dispatch a rider.
- You receive a tracking link to share with your customer.
Setting up WhatsApp dispatch
- Log in to the merchant dashboard .
- Go to Settings → WhatsApp Dispatch.
- Follow the connection steps to link your WhatsApp number.
- Once connected, any message sent to your configured number will be processed by the AI.
How to write an order message
The AI understands natural language, but this format gives the best results:
Deliver to: [Customer address]
Phone: [Customer phone]
Item: [What you are delivering]
Pickup: [Leave blank to use your default shop address]Example:
Deliver a birthday cake to 14 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi. Customer is Amara on 08011122233. Pick up from my baker at 22 Allen Avenue.
The AI will:
- Use your default pickup address if you don’t specify a pickup location
- Ask for any missing required fields (address, phone number)
- Never dispatch a rider until you confirm with YES
Confirming and cancelling orders

Supported WhatsApp providers
IDeliver supports two WhatsApp connection methods:

Daily dispatch limits
To prevent misuse, each merchant account has a daily AI dispatch limit. If you reach your limit, you’ll receive a message and can dispatch additional orders through the dashboard or API.
Limits are based on your subscription plan. View plans to upgrade.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| AI is not responding | Check that WhatsApp dispatch is enabled in your dashboard settings |
| “Account not verified” message | Complete KYB verification at merchant.ideliver.ng/settings/verification |
| “Insufficient wallet balance” | Top up your wallet at merchant.ideliver.ng/wallet |
| AI keeps asking the same question | Send /cancel to clear the draft and start fresh |
